Better late than never!

I finally got my BirchBox in!! It came on Monday a few hours after I posted this about still not receiving the package. Well here are some pictures of my box & it's contents as I opened it at work...

As you can see the only full size product I recieved was the Sprout lip balm. I didn't like the smell of it but my mom did so she now has another added to her collection. The other products I haven't tried yet but I do plan to.

Still Waiting...

No BirchBox yet!

I emailed the company on 10/16 about needing information on the location of my box because the tracking number they sent me about 4 times had never updated. Two days later I get an email with a link to the same tracking number with an update that it was in New Jersey....UM HELLO BIRCHBOX THIS IS CRAY (In my Kanye West voice)!

So the projected delivery date was today 10/22....I'm at work (which is where I have all my big packages sent) and nothing yet because they tried to delivery on a Saturday after hours! Now all of our usual mail carriers KNOW that we close at 12pm on Saturday's so I had to wait another two days because I had this freaking box sent to work!

Oh well hopefully I will get it in a few hours..my fingers are crossed I don't have to go pick it up on my lunch hour (that would be the pits).

October Birchbox Wait Game

**Update**
I JUST got an email (10/11) with an information on my Birchbox...it won't be shipping until 10/13 and I paid for the box 9/25...UM hello is this thing on!? That is craziness! They tried to make it better by giving me 100 points which is $10 towards a product in there shop...Ugh I hate waiting!

I guess I'll be one of the late bloomers and post my box in November...

SOOOO...I still haven't received my box, my tracking number hasn't updated ANY info, Birchbox didn't send me an email about the tracking number being available online I had to go find it & that was on October 7th! Also I opt-ed out of the "Goop" box and 3 of the 5 things listed to come in my box are in the "Goopbox" -_-

In better news my Julep Maven box should be here today and I ordered that October 7th!! My only downside to Julep is they have re-done their website and I'm unable to log on to make changes to next month's box :( so it looks like I'll be making a call to them this after noon!

No Miles of Smiles here

So today has been the pits! I was hoping to see my Birchbox walk in with the UPS man this morning at work but he came in empty handed!

TOTALLY BUMMER!

I say that because I've been waiting for my FIRST Birchbox since SEPTEMBER 26TH!

Well I do have an email that says it will ship on October 10th but my tracking number doesn't work and it's the 9th of October -_-

Oh well on the brighter side my Julep Maven box is shipped out today!! Yay!!

As of yesterday I've become a member of the beauty monthly subscription known as Birchbox. I've heard and read mixed reviews about Birchbox in the past couple of days so I can't say for sure if I like it...I'll give it 4 - 5 months to see if they are a keeper.

Some specs..it is monthly, you get SAMPLES of beauty products, & it's $10 for month to month.

There are options to do yearly subsciptions as well as purchase a box for a friend!! Guys they didn't leave you out, there is also a Men's Birchbox and a slight price difference.

Day 3 kinda 4 but not really

So this getting up and exercising is starting to kick my butt!

It's probably because I was out and about this weekend and failed to do any of my exercises from my list but there was a lot of walking done this weekend, right along with drinking and eating so it cancelled itself out lol.

On a brighter note it is getting a little easier to do push ups (YAY sexy arms).

I didn't do anything this morning just got out the bed REALLY late and rushed to work. I have a dance class to teach tonight so I'll make it up tonight and pick back tomorrow morning.

I hope you keep going and don't follow in my lazy footsteps lol

Day 1

So the first day of the morning workout challenge went well!

That circuit takes 10mins at the most if you go straight through.

This is something that I can see myself doing every morning....

As promised I did take pictures to keep up with my progress of toning my abs.

UM, is this thing on?

Well hello there my precious blog!

I know, I know it seemed as though I had abandoned you but I would never do such a thing....ok well I thought about it lol.

I'm here to post a challenge for myself to exercise every morning! Yeah I know big task for me because I'm NOT a morning person. Well I guess that why it's a challeneg huh?

Here is what I will be doing:

*50 jumping jacks
*5 pushups
*20 crunches
*20 mountain climbers
*30 second plank
*7 burpees
&for extra credit IF I have the time I'll go for a quick run...UM yeah I'll TRY! lol

I'm doing this because I would like to drop inches and tighten up the tummy area before my cruise in July...yeah I'm pushing it but honestly in these last two weeks are the only time I've been not doing some type of exercise since we had a break from dance. So I shall try to blog my daily/weekly progress with "What I Ate" and pictures......(>_<)

Look out smaller size here I come!!!

So lately I've been spending a lot of time on Shutterfly.com and I recently received two different codes that allowed me to make an 8x8 20page photo book for free all I paid was shipping and handling!! Then I received another code for 10 free prints so I took those 10 free prints and made my brother's grad announcements. Sweet I know lol. Family Day…

Yesterday was spent with family members I haven’t seen in years!!! We were planning one of our family picnics for the spring! It’s going to be great!!!
No pictures to share this time because my grandma was the one snapping pics lol. 
A BIG shout out to PhillyDiva19154 for the inside on the Milani Cosmetics Sale at CVS! 75% off select items which unfortunately ended last night but Mom&I got 3 eye shadows for $1.72 each, 2 mineral blushes one for $1.82 and the other $1.75, 3 retractable eyeliners $1.82 each, and a 3d glaze lip gloss for $1.75 for a total of $17.06!!! Yeah I always have time to save money, even if it’s on make-up!
My grandma sales Mary Kay…I know, I know just another reason to add to the collection! Yeah she hooked me up with an early Valentine’s gift of MAKE-UP! She got me 2 crème lipsticks one in Mocha Freeze and the other in Whisper (great nudes for my skin tone), a lip gloss in Starry, mascara in black brown, and a liquid eye liner in black! I have a great NaNa!
<3 my family & the time we spend together. Laughs, tears, stories, & smiles. We are always there for each other no matter what happens or what someone needs.

Thrifty Weekend..

Today was spent doing some thrifting :)
Mom, Dad, & I were up at the wee hours of the morning ok maybe more like 8 lol. We went to a few garage sales, Goodwill, and then dad’s favorite place…Sam’s Club lol.
After daddy had his little man fit and was ready to leave mom & I dropped him off at home and went to a few different thrift stores around town and a different Goodwill in town.

Such a short weekend..

The weekend is coming to an end and I’m ready for Friday to get here :)
Let’s do a quick run through of my weekend………

Saturday:

Work, work, work, work lol Yeah I had to go in for a few hours then I washed my car. After about 2 hours spent on that I was ready to turn in for the night. I watched “The Notebook” then “Eat Pray Love”, two great movies on a night where I needed to chill.

Sunday:

I woke up and made breakfast, well until mom came and took over. I started on my portion of dinner, baked mac&cheese, after a great breakfast. Then we went to take some pictures of my brother for his senior announcements & for portraits to give out.
   
There it is, my weekend!

Dance Thursday!

Yesterday was such a crazy day I was in bed by 7:30!!!!
So today was a long silent day for me at work. I wasn’t really in the best mood due to the lack of sleep I’ve been experiencing lately so I was to myself most of the day. Got a package in the mail which took away 30mins of my lunch break but hey it’s ok.
Anyhow…today was the first day back to dance! I had two girls show up for class so we went over our tap dance & thought of different ideas for another dance. We also renamed out shoulders to shelbows :) lol inside joke.
Then came time for Ms. ZeZe to take her own class :-D
I was extra excited because Marika came back today!!! It was also her first dance class being able to hear! Check Out this post on what I’m talking about, http://zeze0728.blogspot.com/2012/01/marika-can-hear.html She enjoyed class but did have a few difficulties with the volume and us tapping to loud lol but we got everything fixed and we tapped our hearts out and had fun!!
Then came time to help a student with a project for school which was a learning experience for everyone else that helped.
Now I’m home&in bed :)
Today went from blah to whoa, glad I made it through the day. I hope your day was good&your night is peaceful

Today was just a freaking continuance of yesterday! It was cold, we were busy, I had much attitude today. Sigh 10 days to go…

Oh What A Day..

Goodness today was a LONG COLD DAY!
Way to many things happened today…ugh but hey today was a blessing because I was able to see it.
So let’s see I didn’t sleep as long as I would’ve liked but hey as long as coffee is involved I’ll wake up lol. Today was Christmas deconstruction day so ALL Christmas themed decorations came down inside and out, all glitter was swept up, and santas were tucked away. Went to the grocery store with Granny…that’s a post in itself, got her taken care of&back home. Then momma and I stopped a few places then home. Since my day wasn’t as great as I hoped it would be I baked and I painted! Welp that’s about it folks I’ll include pictures of my day!

Marika Can Hear!

So a girl I dance with has lived her life without every hearing the music she dances to. On Dec. 29, 2011 her cochlear implant was turned on and she was able to hear! I just wanted to share this with everyone because we all take little things like out hearing for granted and I’m blessed to have Markia as a friend and as a teacher in life’s lessons.

Hello 2012!!

So my NYE plans didn’t happen…
I ended up staying home and bringing in the the New Year in my pjs, which ended up being very fun! I caught a replay of “Beyonce…I Am Yours” so I danced and sang into 2012 .
Yesterday afternoon Mom, My brother,& I went to Destin for a little shopping and some yogurt, that was a fun random trip. So here are some pictures of the outfit I wore, my yogurt (half eaten), a condo that had “NOEL” in lights, and me in my “party wear” aka my jammies.
